Golden hour senior session days are some of my favorite, and Elle’s senior year was full of them. I’ve been so excited to share these images with you!
That extra time allowed us to really lean into variety. Different outfits, different locations. A mix of polished and relaxed moments that felt true to who she is right now. Being a senior in high school is such a unique time in life. I love that we got to really capture that together.
One of the things I loved most about Elle’s sessions was how intentional her outfit choices were. She moved easily between casual denim and fitted tops. Using soft floral dresses, and a flowing white dress to capture an elevated look. Each look matched the location perfectly. Downtown streets with brick buildings and railings gave us a more modern, confident feel. While stone walls and greenery softened things just enough. Then we ended the season exactly where I hoped we would.
The wildflower field at during the last hour of the day… pure magic. The light was warm and glowy that evening. It enveloped everything in that soft haze that makes photos feel nostalgic even in the moment. Elle’s white dress moved gently in the breeze. While the tall grass and blooms added texture without taking attention away from her. It felt calm, joyful, and very much like a celebration of everything she’s worked toward.
As a mom, I know how big this milestone is. Finishing the school years is an accomplishment for both kids and parents. And senior photos are about honoring that season before it changes. I loved getting to document Elle’s last year of high school in a way that felt personal and meaningful.
Ending her experience with a golden hour senior session was the perfect way to close this chapter. A perfect way to create images her family will always come back to.
