First and foremost, I’m a wife and a mom to three incredible boys in River Falls, Wisconsin.
Photography started as one of my many creative outlets back in 2011 and gradually turned into the most incredible career I could have ever imagined.
When I knocked the dust off my camera again in 2016, capturing every milestone of our first son was my only concern (if you’re a parent, you know the feeling!). These photos allowed me to freeze this brief, and oh so treasured, moment in time. Three boys and a few career shifts later, my camera never left my side–and I got pretty dang good at using it. Now I have the honor of helping couples, new families, and high school graduates freeze their unique and precious moments in time. And it truly is an honor.
New parents holding their delicate baby in their arms, the first dance on a wedding day, the palpable anticipation of a newly engaged couple, or the precious maternity photos taken before lives are changed forever. These are the moments we never want to forget.
Give me power tools, and I’ll know what to do. Thanks to my dad, I love building with my hands and doing DIY projects around the house.
My husband is my biggest fan. We’ve been together for 10 years now, but you’ll still find me swooning over our engagement, wedding, maternity, and anniversary photos together.
I ran cross country at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls which helps me keep up with the energy of my three boys.
We love living life outdoors. Everything from running, hiking and snow sports, to escaping to the beach when it’s freezing in Wisconsin!
I’m also a children’s clothing designer and a seamstress for my second business, Wild Rumpus. I’m definitely a multi-passionate creative if you can’t already tell!

I lost my mom to Leukemia in 2013, and my dad passed away unexpectedly in 2020. They left behind so many photos and videos (thanks to their insistence on taking the camera and camcorder everywhere). These records of their time on Earth have solidified my passion for helping others preserve their memories through photography.
Rose and Oak represents the roots of your life, strong like an oak tree, and the beautiful future that awaits you, like a blooming rose. It also pays homage to my parents–ask me and I’ll share the story with you!
